My 60-gallon freshwater tank has a Marineland Penguin 350 hang-on-back filter that is now running but will soon be replaced with a new HOB filter of a different design. It runs fine. Not silent, but quiet. The deal includes two boxes of new size C cartridges (12 cartridges total) and a spare, used, Bio Wheel. On Amazon, where it is the top selling HOB filter and rates 4.5 stars, it sells for $52, the 12 cartridges and Bio-Wheel sell for a total of $24. The 350 has a water flow of 350 GPH (gallons per hour). The rule of 4X says it's a OK for tanks up to 75 gallons. It has two compartments, each with a Bio Wheel, a "C" filter and (see 5th picture) for extra clear water a little Poly-Fill. Having two compartments can help keep the tank stable. Every two weeks I replace the cartridge and PolyFill in only one side, leaving the other side unchanged. If this ad is up, it is available. The box is not included.
