ATTENTION CLIMBERS: Looking to Hire We are a tower construction/maintenance company that constructs and services lattice MET towers for the renewable/wind energy sector. We currently have positions available for construction/climbing work in the renewable energy field. Work includes travel; concrete and foundation work; working at heights; wiring and electrical; installation of precision instrumentation at height;...all with an attention to safety and detail along with a positive attitude in a small team environment. Opening for MET Tower Technician: Applicants must: - be athletically fit and able to climb and work at heights up to 350' - be able to lift 80 lbs - have knowledge in the use of various hand tools - have current, valid DL, clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT physical - be drug/alcohol free - be professional and work well with others - be able to strictly adhere to best safety practices - be able to travel up to a month at a time with time off in between - uphold quality workmanship beyond industry standards - be willing to work with a non-structured schedule, i.e.- long hours, weekends, etc. Extra consideration for those with any of the following current training certifications: - Tower Competent Climber/Rescuer - OSHA Construction 10 hr - CPR/First Aid - Qualified Rigger/Signal Person - Forklift Certification Compensation dependent on current training and experience with overtime and per diem for travel.
