Smith Fence Co is now accepting applications to fill one or two new fence installer positions as well as one new foreman position. We are open to interviewing crews for Subcontracting work as well. Job Description & responsibilities Fence installers and foreman will be installing all types of fencing including wood, aluminum and chain link. Digging post holes and setting post. Reading and executing job plans. Foreman will be expected to handle some customer relations. Maintain a clean working environment including cleaning shop, tools, and trucks and trailers. Employer Expectations We are looking for employees who are: self-motivated, hard working, who have extreme attention to detail, who can work safely, who are quick learners, can lift 85+ lbs, employ a good attitude and who work well in a team environment. Qualifications 1 year of construction experience preferred. (not required) Must pass company issued drug screen and background check. Must have effective oral and written communication skills with customers and co-workers. Must be comfortable with hand and power tools.
