Job Overview To perform finish painting, wallcovering installation and other finish work during both new construction and remodel projects Responsibilities and Duties • Perform commercial painting and wallcoverings installation. • Apply stains, varnishes and restore woodwork. • The ability to repair drywall and finish, ready to paint. • The ability to erect scaffold, platforms, and work from lifts. • The ability to operate lift equipment for high work. • Clean respective work areas. • Train others in painting work. • Assist other maintenance and crafts staff performing their duties. • Perform prep work, caulk and putty • All other duties that are assigned. Qualifications/Physical Demands • 5 years + of performing commercial painting and wallcovering installation. • Must have the ability to perform new and remodel painting work. • Will be required to use and maintain the tools and equipment associated with painting work; insuring safety practices are followed on job sites. • Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints • Individual must be flexible and able to travel away from home for several days at a time • Ability to lift and carry up to 90 lbs.
