Job Title: Machine Shop Production Assistant - Powder Coating Employment Status: Full Time One Time Signing Bonus: $300 after completion of 90 Day probationary period Pay: $18.50 per hour Front Panel Express specializes in manufacturing custom front panels and enclosures. We have been producing high quality parts for a variety of customers for 20 years. We are a small company of under 20 employees and are growing our team! We are looking to fill a full time Machine Shop Production Assistant position for our 7am to 3:30pm shift, Monday through Friday. This shift is subject to change, depending on production needs. The primary responsibility of the person holding this position is to support production and perform general warehouse duties. Responsibilities and Skills: + Support our machine shop cutting sheet aluminum to size for orders and assist our CNC machine operators in creating our custom orders. + Assist with inventory counting and controls to make sure we have enough material and supplies for the shop to run efficiently and reduce waste! + Powder Coating of parts as needed [We will train you, no experience necessary!] + Cross training in other departments is available to those interested in development + Highly detailed and organized + Maintain a positive, courteous relationship with coworkers and vendors Job Requirements: Dedicated worker with excellent attendance, we are a busy shop and punctuality is crucial. Mechanically inclined; enjoy working with your hands and working on your feet Basic computer skills Ability to be on feet all day, wear a face respirator and to lift at least 50 pounds We will train the right person! But a background in machine shops or manufacturing is a plus.
