Erosion Control Laborer- Seasonal September thru December An established company in Galt is looking for a Erosion Control Laborer to add to our team of Erosion Control Professionals. Starting salary $20.00/hr., $800.00 per week, based on 40-hour work week, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts. Salary ranges from $20 to $22/hr. The candidate should possess the following qualification: Possess a California driver’s license, with a clean DMV record. MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Experience with pulling trailers a PLUS Must pass a criminal background check for access to government installations. Reliable transportation to and from work Reliable work history with references Competency and familiarity with safety procedures Able to sustain physical work at a fast pace including pushing, bending, lifting, kneeling, walking, and climbing ladders and steps. Possess the capacity to lift 50-75 lbs on a routine daily basis Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions Ability to function in a TEAM environment. Other requirements: Applicant must be able to work 5 days per week, with Seasonal overtime and occasional weekend shifts. Must be able to maintain a clear focus while prioritizing multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently; flexible quick learner who has a proven history of thriving in a TEAM environment. Must be detail oriented and organized.
