Trump is claiming that as the former president he has executive privilege to the classified nuclear secrets. This is simply not true. The ONLY person who has executive privilege at any given moment in the country is the current standing president. Trump surrendered his executive privilege the moment he left the White House. Joe Biden is currently the only person with executive privilege. Trump has zero case here. He is likely guilty of stealing g government documents. Hew openly admits to possession of these documents. Each are a separate federal crime. Each are an act of treason. Each has a maximum sentence of the federal death penalty.
