ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs a variety of duties necessary to the general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds of the NNSA / Nevada Field Office facility. • Maintains grounds including trimming hedges, pruning shrubs using hand tools, fertilizing shrubs, and repairing structures such as irrigation systems. • Removes leaves and debris from premises. • Power washing areas needed. • Responsible for overall appearance of the grounds. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Must have one year related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training in grounds maintenance, demonstrate expertise in the field and be physically able to perform the duties of the job. Must be a US citizen. Must maintain a valid driver’s license. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Must have the ability to respond to work orders from customers, managers and staff members.
