I am offering two rooms and private bath in exchange for caregiving. One is furnished. The other can be made into a private den, office or art studio. You must be a non smoker. No drugs or alcohol, zero drama. Someone who is perhaps retired and prefers being at home or who works from home. If you are out in public alot due to Covid and my health please don’t apply. You should be physically fit and able to be awake by 7:30 a.m. I am a 53 year old woman, an artist, author, an online counselor. I am also very positive and prefer to maintain a high vibration in my home. You cannot have a temper. I am immune compromised so you must wear a mask when around me and in public and practice safe hand washing. Room value is equal to $1,000 for two rooms. This includes garage parking, and wifi at $45 a month. Water, electricity, laundry privileges once a week. At this time I am somewhat mobile but on and off this could change. I may need a bed pan emptied at times in my life. I have adrenal insufficiency and extreme weakness. It causes me to have to be in bed or lying down most of the day and have a very low stress atmosphere. At times I can do more for myself and prefer that, but most days I may need a plate microwaved and water made. Food is prepared ahead of time once a week and frozen on Thursdays or Friday’s. I need approximately 28 hours a week one hour a day. A Breakfast handed to me at 7:30 am and a dinner microwaved at 3:00pm. Plus five hours once a week for food prep and cooking and cleaning. Weekends can be off but plates have to be made up and left in coolers and water pitchers managed. I am very flexible and I try to make your work as efficient as possible. I make a detailed list each week of what needs to be done. It’s cleaning bathrooms or vacuuming, mopping, dusting and laundry. It’s steaming meat and vegetables, juicing and puréing and baking potatoes. If you can use an instapot and use a food processor and blender It’s a piece of cake. Its making rice and oatmeal. Chopping fruit. You make each plate, freeze then thaw, microwave and hand it to me. I generally eat the same thing each day so it’s an easy menu. My neighbor can train you. Someone buys my groceries weekly, but I may need something picked up at CVS or shipped every so often. I would pay for the gas. If I were to need a ride I would pay you for your time. So the value of the work adds up to approximately $736 dollars a month. So one hour a day or less and about five hours once a week depending on your speed in doing things. Sometimes I need more help, sometimes I need less help. There is Satellite tv, Netflix, if you want but the box is rented by you for ten dollars a month if you want tv in your room. You provide tv. That value is 88.00 a month. You are welcome to watch my flat screen. Your rooms and bathrooms must be cleaned once a month. You must keep the kitchen and common areas clean. The house organized. Plants watered pick up mail, empty the trash. I don’t require you to be vaccinated but it is critical that you wear a mask in public and around me. I will buy you some washable masks if needed but you must wash them. Fenced backyard, large patios, million dollar views, cul-de-sac and quiet neighborhood, all new appliances, newer home. Excellent Heat and Air. I am very energy conscious and expect fans and electronic devices to be turned off when not in use. I live across from the Granite Dells if you are a hiker.
