Babysitting/Tutoring/Consulting from Elementary Special Educator

I'm a 36-year-old, recently retired special educator. I'm in-between careers right now and available for babysitting and/or tutoring. I'll only be in the area until Halloween, so if you're interested, make the move quickly. I am very professional - always on time, consistent, respectful, and a good communicator. I am also a very kind, fun, and compassionate human/teacher. Kids and I have a lot of fun together, whether it's simply hanging out or doing school work together. For babysitting, I'm available Fridays and weekends. I have a car available and references upon request. The rate is flexible depending on your needs and the duration of the time. No less than $15 an hour if only for 2 - 3 hours. For tutoring, I can do a sliding scale fee between $50 - $100 per hour. As an experienced special educator, your child is getting high-quality teaching. We can do in-person or over zoom, if that is preferred. I am available week nights, Fridays, and weekends. I can support learning to read, becoming a better reader, reading comprehension, math computation, math concepts, as well as social studies and science support. My special educator career focused on children with traumas so I am also skilled in supporting social/emotional goals and behaviors. Furthermore, because of my overall knowledge, I can also be a consultant for parents who are having trouble getting their children the support they need in school, as well as support parents who are trying to homeschool their children with ideas, lesson plans, etc. We can also a combination of any of the above services.
