We are a family owned power equipment dealership looking for full time small engine mechanic in Asheville, NC. We offer competitive wages and benefits for this year-round FULL TIME position. Position requirements: • At least 3 years mechanic experience (5 years preferred, small engine preferred) • Must have own tools • Be familiar with Kohler, Kawasaki, Briggs & Stratton, Honda and others • Must be able to diagnose and tear down/rebuild/repair engines, transmissions, and all other components of riding and walk-behind lawn mowers, pressure washers, compact tractors, and portable outdoor power tools • Ability to work independently and be self motivated • Basic computer skills for completing work orders and looking up parts • Friendly, professional attitude • Must be DRUG FREE and willing to submit to drug testing • Good communication skills • Good customer service skills and able to interact with customers in a courteous manner • Reliable transportation and be on time We are looking for an honest, dependable mechanic as part of our team.
