Hello! We raise Silkies and have 1 Rooster (less than a year old) and 2 Hens (right at a year old) that will be perfect for a new flock or to add to an existing one. Our rooster is a gorgeous blue/gray color and has an excellent temperament. He was the first chick we hatched in our flock, and has never charged us or our other chickens. His dad however, is an ass. HA! One of the hens is a splash hen color (does have a foot that’s turned inwards) but she is one of our best producing hens and one of the best moms. The other hen is black and is also a good mom, but not as dedicated as the splash hen. The three will go together, and I only want a good home that can ensure they will be kept together and not separated. The rooster is way to calm to be kept with our older one, and I don’t want him to be bullied. Rather than selling a single rooster we are letting him go with two hens.
