Need to write better for work? Pleasure? Join my writing class on Zoom, Tuesdays from 11-12 noon starting October 4th, or on Thursdays from 6-7 pm starting October 6th. Learn to express yourself clearly and creatively. Enjoy articulating what you think and feel.
We'll return to the basics and start with the simple, yet sophisticated, sentence, and then move on to paragraphs, organization, voice, and purpose. We'll write simple stories, real or imagined, and informational pieces. We'll touch on grammar as needed.
I've worked as an educator in Language Arts for over 25 years, including training teachers in creative writing strategies for the FL Dept. of Education and the FL Cultural Affairs Office. My writing program for students started off as a program for elementary and middle school students. But college professors liked the strategies and adapted them for college. The program is also used to meet the writing needs of working adults and seniors who are exploring legacy and memoir writing.
