Description
I was in high school (9th grade) and an announcement came over the p.a. The president had been assassinated. We were in shock and dismay beyond comprehension. Then we were sent home (Yeah!) At home, on our televisions the stark reality was in our faces day and night for three days, continuously. I remember it as if it were last month.
Since then, I have seen many unspeakable acts of human aggression. We live in a wicked, wondrous world. Sometimes it's hard to make meaning out of it all. But we keep plugging on, hoping for better. For the most part mankind is loving, kind and helpful.
Know God. "Always be humble and kind." Tim McGraw
