"South Baltimore: In the Shadow of Industry" Walking Tour

Spend the afternoon walking the “South Baltimore: In the Shadow of Industry” tour route alongside Baltimore Museum of Industry staff. The tour, also accessible digitally on the Explore Baltimore Heritage website and app, includes 10 industrial sites on the South Baltimore peninsula that testify to the legacy that manufacturing, shipbuilding, and other heavy industries have left on the peninsula. Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle if you would like. The tour route will be approximately two (2) miles long. Tour will take place rain or shine, except in the event of severe weather. The Baltimore Museum of Industry will be open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 2. The galleries will be closedy by the time the tour ends, but restrooms will be available and the parking lot will remain open.
