As part of its ongoing Every Day Counts initiative, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is hosting a one and a half-day peer exchange to bring State Departments of Transportation (DOTs) together to learn more about the transformative capabilities for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in the management of work zones. The peer exchange will accomplish the following objectives: Highlight UAS applications for the work zoneIdentify how UAS can increase the efficiency and safety of managing work zonesHear from States with UAS programs that support work zone management on their best practicesDemonstrate innovate UAS capabilitiesThis interactive peer exchange will provide participants with an opportunity to engage with presenters and their peers during general sessions and breaks.
