The Battle of Rowayton - a season opening paddle tennis event to play friendly, but competitive, paddle tennis, have some food and drinks and raise some money for 2022 paddle tennis scholarships and the new and refurbished paddle courts Entry fee is $125/player which covers tournament entry, balls, food, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), Elevate/RPTA swag with proceeds being split between the fund for Court 5 and the 2022/23 scholarship fund to enable some talented Rowayton Elementary School pupils who wouldn't otherwise be playing paddle tennis to get membership, equipment and lessons. Players will be allocated to one of two Rowayton teams by way of a draft the week before the event. Men's, women's and mixed matches will be scheduled throughout the day. Each player should expect to get the chance to play with and against players from both inside and outside their usual team/division.
