Bay Area AAZK (American Association of Zoo Keepers) is looking forward to hosting Bowling For Rhinos at Castro Village Bowl! Come out on Sunday September 25th any time from 6-9pm and have a great time bowling with friends to benefit wild rhino conservation. This bowling event ticket will include 2 games of bowling and a pair of shoes at the Castro Village Bowl. Prices are $25 for members, $30 for non-members and $35 at the door. Thank you for your support of our chapter and Rhino Conservation and we look forward to seeing you there! Every year our chapter participates in the national AAZK’s (American Association of Zoo Keepers) flagship fundraiser: Bowling For Rhinos. This event raises money to support rhino conservation efforts in Africa and southeast Asia. ALL OF THE PROCEEDS go to in-situ conservation areas: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya to aid the black and white rhino species; International Rhino Foundation to aid the Indian, Javan, and Sumatran rhino species throughout Indonesia; and since 2009, Action for Cheetahs in Kenya.
