Tour and Brunch from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Every day, young men who have grown up in poverty, often without a caring, loving father in the home, are looking for a better living situation; a situation where they are able to save money, learn necessary skills, and become empowered to take responsibility for their own lives. Pick Up The Ball is a local nonprofit that has been mentoring young men such as these for the past decade and they are excited to announce, they are renovating a building that will serve as their new boarding house in Fort Myers. This boarding house will serve as an intermediate step for young men who are ready to become independent but need to acquire the skills and finances to do so and will serve up to 12 young men at a time, 18 and older, for three months to a year, depending on the needs of the individual. Stop by anytime between 10 a.m. until 12 p.m to tour the boarding house and meet the current members of Pick Up The Ball.
