Rehoming 2 Basset hounds

Events

Pearland TX

Description

Marley is a brown and white basset hound. We assume she is around 8 years old (she was a rescue, with no previous paperwork). She has no health problems that we know of, and is a very sweet dog. She is somewhat house trained. The reason I say that, is the house we just moved from had a dog door that allows them free access to the back yard anytime. She IS food aggressive. She cannot have any treats or food around other dogs (George generally does not bother her, she is the dominant dog, however on rare occasions, George will try to take food and cause a fight). She is currently on the Simparica Trio heartworm and flea preventative, and is up to date on all her shots. George is a Tri colored brown, black, and white basset hound. We assume he is around 10 years old ( he was also a rescue, we found him in the woods near a sand pit factory). He currently has no known health problems. When we first rescued him, he had heartworms. We had him treated for heartworms, and it was successful. He is somewhat house trained (same deal as Marley). I would not consider George food aggressive. He does not like other people or animals around when he eats, but I would not consider him aggressive. He is also on Simparica Trio and is up to date on all of his shots. A word of caution, neither one of them like getting their nails cut. They both had a bad experience one time and it has scared both of them for life. I normally take them to the vet to get their nails cut. In the past they normally muzzle them, but this most recent time they were actually not bad. It was also a new vet, so maybe the old vet was just doing something they didn’t like. They are both a bonded pair and can not be separated. A rehoming fee of $3oo cash is required. Fee is non-negotiable. If you try to negotiate, you will be blocked. A receipt for the rehoming fee will be provided. All transactions are final.
