The Salsbury Family Childcare has openings for children 2 - 4 years old. If your child is close to 2 years old, we can reserve a space for them to start on their 2nd birthday. We a team of 4 teachers, who have been working together for 1 - 3 years. (I have been in the field for 20+ years). We provide quality childcare (age appropriate activities), healthy food, a preschool program, and lots of fun. Our goal is to provide a happy, safe environment where children are given the opportunity to develop cognitively, emotionally, socially and physically through through the exploration of language and numbers, music and movement, science and nature, families and culture, art and drama. We are a play based childcare with a emphasis on building strong relationships with the children, families, and teachers. Right now we have children ages 5 mo - 3 years, so there is a great range for the children to learn from each other. We serve 3 health, home cooked meals and never watch TV. We love to ride bikes, run, and play outside. We also have circle time, reading, singing, art, puzzles, games, and activities. We have a great group of families and children. And are happy to give references. We were located in Mountain View for 14 years and have now been in Sunnyvale for 5 years. We are open M-F 8:30-5:30. We are all certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR and are fully licensed by the state and take health and safety very seriously.
