If you are interested in raising quail for meat, you can stick around for an optional 20-minute demonstration of quail processing. (Hands-on processing classes are offered separately.) What you'll get: Participants will get a quail care guide, a list of quail resources, and a pair of quail egg scissors. Can kids attend? The class is designed for adults and older children. If you have younger children who would like to come out to the farm, please contact us to schedule a time for a separate visit. What to wear Class is held outside, weather permitting. We highly recommend wearing closed-toed shoes for the farm tour. Add-Ons To encourage carpooling, you can add up to two other people onto your registration for just $15 each. About This class will be lead by Sarah Guerere from Quinn's Quails and takes place at GullyRumpus Farm in North Highlands, a farm owned by Linda Easton-Waller. Sarah and Linda partner to supply quail eggs to the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, Kru Japanese Restaurant, and There And Back Cafe. Our quail eggs are on the menu at There And Back Again Cafe and Game Center, where you can get this amazing salmon avocado toast with capers, pickled onions and of course, quail eggs!
