While she has always focused on the whole person and holistic nursing, it wasn’t until her son suffered a traumatic brain injury that she discovered how miraculous marijuana could be. Specializing in both marijuana and medicine, April holds a master’s degree in public health nursing, is Healer Certified, a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association, the Society of Cannabis Clinicians, the Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association and a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association.
