In a few short years they were opening for the likes of Beats Antique, They Might Be Giants, and Lotus, while selling out their own headline shows at marquee venues around the United States and Europe. Their unconventional sound and techniques, utilizing found objects like traffic cones, landed them appearances on NPR’s Tiny Desk in America, “Later…with Jools Holland” in the UK, “Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year” in Australia, and private audiences with the Premier League’s Chelsea F.C. With a wide array of influences from all over the globe, his mixes tend to span many genres and find harmony in big moving soundscapes. Tailored to fit their environment in real time, each set is unique and curated to uplift. Skip'Lo | Night 2 SupportSKIP'LO is a Hip-Hop group from Charleston, SC. Started in 2020 by Hip-Hop legends Appollo Valdez and Damn Skippy with one goal... To bring REAL HIP-HOP to the people in its most RAW and LYRICAL form! After selling out their first few local shows along with articles in the Charleston City Paper and local radio praise, SKIP'LO followed up with a tour alongside Little Stranger and Pip the Pansy through the Southeast. With the release of their first 2 singles "Make Room" and "Let's Eat" produced by Leaf Eater of LITTLE STRANGER the group is geared up to release their first LP in the coming months with a roster of features! * Show is all ages.
