Join us for a Paint and Take class, learn some new techniques, and apply them to a GROUP of miniatures! Yes, you read that correctly, you will be learning to quickly paint a group of five fantasy miniatures to a quality standard. To this group of miniatures, you will learn: Basecoating (with a little color theory thrown in), using a wash to apply shadows, blending to get highlights, mixing colors, painting faces, painting eyes. Additionally, you will dialogue with your instructor and the rest of the class on: light and shadow, volumes, focusing highlights, and the importance of the face. Miniatures will be supplied primed and ready for painting. Painters need only bring a variety of brushes. $30 Entry Includes: Three to Four hour lesson Early Bird: 48 hours before the event starts, a convenience fee will be added to the ticket. Ordering in advance helps our instructor better prepare for the class. Students under the age of 13 will not be admitted to this class. No Exceptions! No outside food or drink allowed. Coffee, drinks, and food available at Cardboard Corner Cafe Cancellation/Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 24 hours before the class start time. Emergency refunds are available after the 24 hour period, per the discretion of the instructor. Please email [email protected] to request a refund. Students must arrive and be ready to paint within in the first 25 minutes of class start time. Arrivals after this time will not be seated and will forfeit their ticket with no refund. This course is finely timed (drying time, instruction, etc.) and this policy has been put into place due to previous class disruptions, which can affect the experience for all the students.
