Started in 2013 by four young breast cancer survivors, this annual event helps meet the needs of local women rather than sending proceeds to national organizations. A brief progam will take place featurig breast cancer survivor and founder of Swig, Nicole Tanner, and a moment of silence to honor those lost to the disease.
During the walk, names and photos of women who have dealt with breast cancer line the trail. The Pink team invites all who have someone they would like to honor and remember to send photos of loved ones to [email protected]. In addition, they are seeking volunteers to help make the 10th anniversary event the best yet.
