Historian Scott D. McGinnis will lead a walking tour down Excelsior's historic Water Street during Excelsior's Apple Day. The tour will begin at the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Historical Society Museum, 305 Water Street and end at the Port of Excelsior on the shore of Lake Minnetonka. This portion of Water Street is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places. You can also learn more about the history of Excelsior and Lake Minnetonka at the Society's free Museum before or after the tour from 10:00 am-2:00 pm.
