Description

The Regional Leadership Institute allows students of all levels to participate in workshops and academic programming where they can develop transferrable skills to use in their current and future leadership roles. Attendees will have the opportunity to partake in interactive sessions, interact with physicians, hear from prominent speakers, and network with our Regional Executive Committee composed of medical students from across the country.  As you may know, the SNMA is the oldest and largest student-run organization that addresses the concerns and needs of students of color. This organization is committed to increasing the number of underrepresented minorities in medicine, targeting health disparities through community service initiatives and sustaining academic enrichment programs for minority youth in the community. In addition, the SNMA aims to develop clinically excellent, culturally competent and socially conscious physicians.
