I have a beautiful friendly hand tamed Goffin Cockatoo for adoption. His exact age is unknown. He prefers men over woman. He is good with my kids but as with any parrot I recommend 10+ for kid ages. You must be an experienced owner. And must understand parrots are loud. Goffins especially can be quite loud. He will scream if he is alone. So he is best suited for a home that he will not be alone for long amounts of time. He has recently had his beak and nails trimmed at the vets office. He came from a bad situation where he was plucked, alone and not fed an appropriate diet. Due to this he does not eat chop, he dosent play with toys. He does like to chew up tounge pressers and popsicle sticks. And likes to chew up plastic building blocks. He is at times nippy but has NEVER broken skin or caused any bleeding. Please be prepared to tell me about yourself, your home, and your experience with large breed birds.
