1 Year Old Orange Tabby - Rehoming

Description

We have a neutered 1 year old male orange tabby to rehome. It is killing us to have to do this but he is not doing well at all with the littles in our home. We recently had a baby 3 months ago. He’s been stressed ever since. He isn’t mean at all to the little kids, just hides. He has never swatted at the baby either. His body language shows he is clearly stressed. He is a super social boy and very affectionate, will answer you back when you talk to him too. He doesn’t let you forget when dinner time is at all! We have tried several things to help him with the stress and it is not working. After consulting with a behavioralist it’s best to rehome him in a home with much older children. He has been in a home with dogs and gets along well with them too. He has always greeted new people, but with the new baby this has changed. He is a 100% lap cat. He has never been outside, only indoors his whole life. If a small kiddo is visiting the home he should be fine, as it is not 24/7. There is a rehoming fee, he will come with his food bowl, a litter box, and some toys that he loves.
