Blue-eyed Summer Lover

Meets

Alameda CA

Description

Sometimes I put a pillow the long way in my bed I wrap my knees around the bottom and my hands still caress your head. Your eyes are the same color I find down by the sea in all the tumbled shards of glass swirling round my knees. I miss my double-souled lover, and I miss our morning trysts. Your ties that might have wound around my heart only made it to my wrists. Did you find your lucky penny above our theater of dreams? Now you well know who lives in this old building, every inch it seems. You tumble away, with the touch you stole from my wandering hands I tumble away sweetly richer to where my timid heart next lands.
