Petey Queensland Heeler Male 16 years old 70+ pounds Chipped Petey looks like an overweight Queensland heeler, white with brown spots. Sorry, no photo. Petey was taken from a vagrant named John over Labor Day weekend by McHenry and Coolidge. The person who took the dog was an attractive blonde lady about 5’2” or taller. I suspect it may be someone with good intentions rescuing a dog from what she thought as a bad situation and felt the man unfit to care for him. Normally, I support rescuing a dog from homeless because I want a pet to have the best life, but this case is different. I often saw John and Petey at the laundromat. While John washed his clothes (yes, this man is normally clean), he and Petey would hang out there and give off good vibes. To John’s disadvantage, he looks unapproachable and is a soft talker. However, he’s a kind man with all love and good intentions for Petey (yes, he leaves him unattended sometimes but means no harm and keeps him happy). John is coherent and in tune with his feelings, only doesn’t have an advocate. So, I encourage all to see that Petey is better off with him since they’ve been together for 16 years and mean the world to each other. Please keep an eye out for an old, chunky Queensland heeler who’s white with dark brown spots and let me know if you see one, it might be Petey. Thanks for everyone’s cooperation.
