This is Bean! Bean is a female cat, approximately 18 months old. We took her in when she was about 6 months old and love her dearly, but with our toddler now becoming more active and another baby on the way it seems to be causing her a lot of stress and anxiety. She has taken to hiding under the bed during the day while our kids play and only coming out at night, and even then she startles easily and will only come to us when she knows for sure the kids are asleep. We are hoping to find her a home where she can have a calm environment that she can feel secure in and not worry about kids or the other animals running around. We are looking for someone who is in need of a companion, no small children and no more than one other cat at home. She is spayed, chipped (will sign over the tag) and her front paws are declawed (by previous owner), she will be due for her yearly rabies shot next month. We are not asking for a rehoming fee but would highly prefer to be able to meet any prospective new owners in person in order to greet Bean and see if she would be a good fit.
