Please tell us a little about why you’re qualified, interested, and how to get in touch with you. Generous hourly pay offered for approved work in addition to payment for any materials. In your response please let us know what hourly rate would make each role attractive to you. More details on each role are below. Handyperson: Seeking a handyman or handywoman to do initial work at a rental house and to be available on-call on an ongoing basis. Initial work will include: - Paint one room - Adjust/install a water pressure regulator - Tighten shower head or add longer screws, caulk escutcheon plates in the shower - Replace ribbed pipes under both sinks to prevent clogging - Tighten toilet at floor, new wax ring - Caulk the side of the kitchen sink - Clean and adjust natural gas burners to reduce a large flame - Wash windows - Take out AC window units, store in basement for winter Property Manager: Seeing a property manager for our rental house who can be on-call for tenant needs in Salida for an owner who lives in Denver. Work will include: - Occasional ability to go to the house to help quickly assess and handle urgent tenant needs. - Occasional non-urgent work such as collecting a key and doing a final walk through upon the end of a lease, preparing for and hosting an open house to find and welcome new tenants. Any non-urgent work will be scheduled around the property manager’s schedule to every extent feasible. - Actual leasing paperwork, and responding to tenant inquiries will be handled by the owner first, and then the owner will call the property manager to help with local work as needed and mutually agreed upon on an item by item basis.
