Hello. Need to rehome my 7 year old German Shepherd - Bella. She is 60 pounds, spayed female black and tan. We have had her since we rescued her in early 2016. She has always, always, been a beautiful dog with no issues and lived with a persian cat simba...her brother....and a mini dachsund...her sister daisy. Simba and Daisy have since died as they were older when we rescued Bella. So she has lived alone these last couple of years. She has never been aggressive towards anyone...ever. Now the rest of the story. We just recently found a beautiful older couple in their 70's with a ranch in Boerne. I took Bella to meet them and we stayed and talked for over an hour. Bella was her amazing self and interacted with the wife and husband and just felt out the home and was awesome. They agreed to take her and we both thought we had found a beautiful new home for Bella. We dont know what happened but Bella was sweet sometimes with them then turned aggressive and nipped the wife on the ankle. They called me and I came and took Bella back to our home. I work for the Army and going overseas. I need to find someone that has a lot of experience with German Shepherds and can maybe do great job with her and give her a loving new home. We dont have many options at this time and we dont want to have to put her down.
