Join us on Sunday, September 25th for a rewarding morning of beautification as we work to maintain and improve the native wildflower garden at South Cross Bayou Water Reclamation Facility. Volunteers will assist with weeding and picking up litter to prepare the area for school tours in the fall. The first 25 people to sign up will receive some free swag! We will be offering a tour of the facility at 8:30 AM for anyone interested in seeing how water in Pinellas County is reused. Please arrive by 8:30 AM if you would like to attend the tour. *** TIME: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM WHERE: South Cross Bayou Water Reclamation Facility - 7401 54th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend a long sleeve shirt, hat and sunglasses. WHAT TO EXPECT: All supplies will be provided including gloves, sunscreen, bug spray and hand sanitizer. Water will also be available.
