Veteran Companion Animal Services gives rescue dogs to veterans.Inftional meeting for veterans who are interested in receiving a rescue dog from Veteran Companion Animal Services (VCAS). VCAS is a non-profit which gives rescue dogs to veterans for companionship. VCAS pays for food, supplies, medical expenses and seven weeks of manners training during the first year. Attendance at this meeting is required to receive a dog. Interested veterans do not need to register, just show up.
