Description

Insight Artspace proudly presents "(de)construct" a private exhibition to support Ukraine. This exhibition is part of our "art and purposes" series which features our female artists' passion and commitment to helping others through their art. This pop-up show reminds us of the necessity to continue helping people to cope with shocks and stresses but also to reconstruct their environment. “The Russians want to erase our country on the world map including our identity”. Words by a Ukrainian refugee. Mother&Child, 20 x16 in, acrylic on canvas, by American Ukrainian artist Christina Saj.Catherine Testorf, Founder of Insight Artspace has the pleasure to invite you for a private art event to support CNEWA's work on the ground in Ukraine. Join us in an intimate home setting for an evening of art and conversation. Engage with 5 contemporary female artists, learn about their art practices and cultural heritage influence. A percentage of art sales will be donated to Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) to support their ongoing efforts in Ukraine. Across the Middle East, Northeast Africa, India and Eastern Europe, Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) works in places where poverty, war and displacement shatter innocent lives. Attendees will also have an opportunity to become a neighbor to those in need by donating directly at this event. Thank you to our generous sponsors:
