TRACK MEAT - Vaguely depressing post-punk from Amherst, MA. Love of alternative music is what unites the members of Track Meat. While the rawness of punk music is their home, personal love of genres like funk, post rock, folk, new-wave and pop all influence their music. Headlining a triple bill of local up and coming rock based acts!! THE BAXBYS are a psychedelic pop band from Amherst, MA. With influences heavy in 80's-00's new wave and alternative, the group aims to create a new sound that brings working bands back into the mainstream. Formed in January 2021, the band consists of drummer Chris Sciucco, bassist Spencer Rosenfeld, lead guitarist James Miller, and singer/guitarist Alex Nordlund. THE LIGHTS, who describe their music as “indie post punk,” have made their band debut on the University of Massachusetts campus. Since forming as a group in October 2021, The Lights have performed several times around campus including at UMass’ student run radio station WMUA’s Battle of Bands competition.
