Join us for a special beer pairing dining event - the Family Meal Beer Dinner Series debuts September 29th with a 3 course meal of traditional Vietnamese dishes served family style. Chef Anh shares with you a piece of her childhood by preparing her favorite comfort foods and pairing them with our house brewed beers. The menu represents her experience growing up as first generation New Orleans Vietnamese, featuring home-cooked foods that define her culture and traditions. We deviate from the BBP Viet-Cajun menu for an evening to highlight dishes that speak to Chef Anh's roots, evoking the comfort and connection of food, family, and friendship in this interactive dining experience. Bring a group or bring yourself and find community in Family Meal at Bywater Brew Pub. Your ticket is inclusive of beer paired with each course, tax and gratuity. A cash bar will be available if you want to purchase any additional cocktails or wine throughout the entire event. Dinner is at 7pm and doors open at 6:00pm for cocktail hour with a full bar. MENU 1st Course - Món Nhậu - Drinking foods “Nem nướng cuon” -Grilled garlicky pork sausage served with rice papers, lettuce, fresh herbs, pressed rice vermicelli noodles, nước chấm, and crab fat dip. “Bánh đa nướng" -Crispy roasted sesame rice papers and honey chili lime sauce *Paired with the Namber Märzen 2nd Course - Món ‘ăn tối - Dinner all dishes served family style with Jasmine rice, chili pickled bamboo, and fresh Thai chilis “Canh dưa chua”-Fermented mustard green soup with pork belly, dried shrimp, tomatoes, and tamarind “Gà kho gừng”-Bone-in chicken quarters and quail eggs braised in ginger fish sauce caramel & Coco Rico coconut soda “Rau muống xào tỏi”-Veggi Co-op Vietnamese water spinach aka morning glory vine stir fried with garlic & oyster sauce *Paired with the Stimulus Czech Pilsner 3rd Course - Món ăn tráng miệng - Palette cleanser “Cam và xoài” -Orange and mango slices served with chili salt and porter-coconut sauce *Paired with St. Georges Porter Fine Print Tickets are priced per seat, all ages welcome but you gotta be 21 to drink beer Full cash bar available all evening Due to the nature of the meal we are unable to make dietary accommodations Family style = banquet style which means you may be seated with other people.
