Measurements for an Engineering Drawing

I need someone to take measurements related to the bathroom exhaust fan. For example, there is a rectangular cut in the ceiling sheetrock, it will require two measurements, length and width. The metal housing to which the exhaust fan attaches is attached to beams. The current fan does not have a snug fit in the housing. There are gaps which causes a non air tight fan. I have been using Duct Tape to cover the gaps. The fan removes the moisture from the bathroom well with the gaps covered with the tape. The housing measurements need to be taken from the attic.
