Join us at the 2022 Reunion for the Mt. Diablo High School Classes of 1965-66-67-68 on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. This joint reunion offers a chance for grads and their guest to renew friendships going back to the time we were Mt. Diablo Red Devils during the long gone but not forgotten 60s. No-Host Cocktail Reception on Friday, Sept. 30, 5:30-9 pm, Hilton Concord Hotel, 1970 Diamond Blvd. Free Parking at the Hilton. Mix and mingle with fellow grads and guests from our 4 classes. Reception, Dinner and Dancing on Saturday, Oct. 1, 6-11 pm, Contra Costa Country Club, 801 Golf Club Rd., Pleasant Hill (right up the hill past DVC). Popular DJ Charles Morris taking your music requests from the 60s through today. Read below for details on each day's schedule and particulars on food and beverage. Tickets for the 2 days are $75 person until August 1. The price goes up to $90 on August. 2. Reservation deadline is Sept. 15. Members of the 4 classes can purchase their tickets using a credit card here or can mail a check to the appropriate class contact listed below. The Saturday Reunion Reception, Dinner and Dancing with popular DJ Charles Morris taking your music requests from the 60s through today is Oct. 1 from 6-11 pm at Contra Costa Country Club. The Country Club is located at 801 Golf Club Rd., Pleasant Hill (right up the hill past DVC) Contra Costa County Club is providing a wide array of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres including seafood, veggies, cheeses, Thai and Chinese offerings. There will be pasta stations, braised pork station, full salad bar and a variety of vegan options. Dine with your friends at your choice of table locations indoors or out. Food available 6:30-8:30pm. Your Reunion fee includes iced tea, coffee, ice water and hot tea. The Country Club has a cashless operation so the Reunion Committee will have a table selling “Drink Tickets” for the bar. We will only be able to accept cash. There isn’t an ATM machine at the Country Club and the bar will not be accepting credit cards. Drink tickets are $5 each. Prices at the bar are $5 for soda, $10 for beer and wine, $15 for mixed drinks and $20 corkage fee if you bring your own wine. All these PRICES INCLUDE TAX and TIP. We will have our traditional No-Host Cocktail Reception on Friday, Sept. 30, on the patio in the Hilton Concord Hotel from 5:30-9 pm giving everyone a chance to mingle with members of the four classes and catch up with your classmates in an informal setting. There will be two no-host bars on the patio accepting CASH ONLY. There is an ATM machine in the hotel lobby ($2.95 charge) and two banks across the street with ATMs. For those wishing to have dinner before or after the reception there are dozens of restaurants within walking distance of the Hilton on diamond Blvd. in the Willows Shopping Center or The Veranda. The Hilton restaurant is presently closed but it may be reopened by the time of our Reunion. There is free parking in the Hilton parking lot. No ticket is needed to attend the reception. HOTEL RESERVATIONS: Because there are so many websites offering hotel discounts and many alumni belong to a hotel chain rewards programs, we did not reserve a block of rooms.
