YouthServe  is hosting a Service Day at East Lake Market for ages 13 to 18 years old. We will be volunteering with their Senior Basket program which delivers fresh produce to local seniors. Youth volunteers will pack the boxes and deliver them to the senior's residence.  Volunteers will be outside, standing ,and walking so dress appropriately.  The East Lake Market is hosted at East Lake United Methodist Church on the corner of 78th St and 2nd Ave South. Volunteer check-in will be at 7:45am.  We will provide doughnuts for breakfast and will be finished by 11:00am.  Parent/Guardians need to pickup volunteers at 11:15am. Address: 7753, 1st Ave South, Birmingham, AL 35206 *You will be receiving a waiver to sign in an email before the event.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have a limited number of spaces available so only those registered for this event are permitted to attend. The health and safety of our volunteers is our primary concern, so if you are experiencing any symptoms or if you or anyone in your household are waiting for COVID test results, we ask that you please cancel your registration. *Due to limited capacity please only register for one service date.
