I opened up my farm to help out a few people and animals in difficult situations, and the response has shown a need for a safe place for rabbits to come to either as a forever home or to find a forever home. I am a rabbit breeder myself, but I understand that at times for whatever reason your pet may not work out. So though I may take in some other animals here and there, I am going to focus on taking in and eventually rehoming rabbits in what will hopefully be their forever home. This is from my own time and resources at the moment, though once I set up a system of adoption the suggestion adoption fee will go right back into the rescue center. We are a private family run homestead, but have heart and passion for animals. The name "Fiver" comes from the classic book, "Watership Down" and was the name of my very first rabbit when I was 6 years old. We are willing to meet at Tractor Supply in South Hill, VA, or meet you within an one hour's drive of South Hill. I know and understand that giving up a pet is not easy or an easy choice, I have faced it myself in my past when my situation was different. But if I may pay it forward and give your rabbit a safe place, permanently or temporarily, then I will. Thank you for your time. You may reply to this post by email.
