Licensed since 1984, we are a well-respected, locally owned and operated petroleum construction company in the Pacific Northwest. We provide above, and underground, services for gas stations as well as some commercial properties. We are seeking a full-time Construction Worker who will be working directly with the superintendent. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to learn a niche trade and gain a wealth of experience. Description of Work: - Working knowledge of general labor skills - Following instructions from supervisor and implementing construction plans - Cleaning and preparing construction sites - Loading and unloading materials and equipment - Erecting and dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures - Digging trenches, compacting, and backfilling trenches/holes - Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment - Operate hand/power tools - Assisting skilled tradesmen in their duties - Responsible for daily jobsite clean-up - Ensure safe work environment - Interact professionally with customers, trade partners, and suppliers/vendors - Working a variety of conditions from indoors and out including heights, loud noises and dust - Other maintenance duties that arise - Skills & Requirements: STRONG work ethic - Ability to follow and take direction - Attention to detail - Reliable - Physical strength and stamina - Ability to lift 50lbs and more - Positive, Can-do Attitude - Flexibility for changing tasks and assignments - Willingness to learn new skills and get specialized certifications provided by the company - Willingness to travel if the need arises (We work in OR and WA. Your travel is paid for.) - Flexible as job sites can quickly change schedules - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Must be at least 18 years old - Must be fluent in English - Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check Pay: $30+ an hour depending on experience Work Days: Monday through Friday, 8hr shifts
