I need to find a home for my dear Jax. He is a wonderful pet, and for some unknown reason, my first post was flagged. Maybe because I asked for a $200 rehome fee? I was going to tell people who inquired about him that I would take less for the right family, but no one inquired about him. I didn’t think to check on my post until today, only to find it had been flagged. If people think $200 is a large rehome fee, what about all the rescues who charge that much and more?? Dogs are expensive. They require expensive vet care/food/flea-heart worm treatment/ treats/toys and lots of love and attention. One trip to the vet can easily cost $200, so if you can’t afford a $200 adoption fee, then you shouldn’t own a dog.
