IMPORTANT: We are welcoming additional attendees, and this is a limited capacity event and you MUST RSVP on this evite to attend. On Thursday September 15th, singer-songwriter Megan Katarina will be playing a concert in Boston! This tour, a local business in West Roxbury - Pretty Moon Mercantile - has donated their beautiful barn to host Megan's concert. Check out this playlist for a primer on Megan's music: Food & Drink: Expect Pizza, Appetizers, and Non-Alcoholic Refreshments before the concert. Pretty Moon Mercantile is not licensed for alcohol, so we'll plan to move the social to a bar nearby for anyone who would like to join for an after concert drink. Concert: This will be a by donation concert. Megan will sing and tell stories behind her original songs. There is no minimum donation, but Megan makes a living creating and performing her music and she'll be collecting donations (and selling merchandise) at the event. Please bring cash for donations & merchandise. Venue Details: Pretty Moon Mercantile in West Roxbury! 111 Park Street. Very close to the West Roxbury commuter rail and ample street parking. Timeline of the evening: Arrive at 6:15PM- eat and mingle with Megan and other guests! MEGAN KATARINA PERFORMS at 7:00pm- Each guest is required to sit down for a listening room environment during this intimate one-hour show. This will take place in the barn with the doors closed to be respectful of noise & neighbors. Megan will sing and tell stories behind her original songs. A Donation Bucket will be passed around at the end of the show- there is no required amount or pressure to give- contribute what you want after hearing the concert. Around 8:00pm, a more social “party” will take place- no need to sit down and be quiet for this part! We will move to a local bar within a block where the community can connect with each other and with Megan, and have a drink if desired! Registration/RSVP: This is a limited capacity event and this evite will prevent registration once we reach capacity. There is a maximum number people permitted on the property (plus seats in the barn) so we will have to turn people away if we reach capacity. If you RSVP 'Yes' here, we will ensure you have a seat as long as you arrive by 6:30pm. Please update your RSVP if your plans change, and we may reach out for a confirmation of your attendance week-of. Walk-ins who don't RSVP will only be accommodated if there is space after RSVPs have been checked in. If this evite fills up, there is a form for a waitlist on the evite.
