Having an event? Big event, small event, Wedding, concert, performance, business event, party, fundraisers- (the wider the variety the better) I have a deal for you. I am upgrading ALL of my video gear- computer controlled switchers, adding robotic/putr controlled cams, adding a crane/jib and replacing 4 of the cams with new 4k high def rigs. I need a couple of events to shoot, my services will be totally free. This will allow me a real life situation, place to set up/tear-down/operate the new system while I get the bugs found and fixed. The deal? Invite me to your event and I will give you a video of it, totally free. I have decades of experience with live to tape events, but not with this gear so my experimentation with robotics and new equipment could benefit you. I can guarantee you a good video altho not the timing. If all goes smooth you should have a copy that weekend, but if there is a disaster or several mistakes it will require old school editing and will slow down the production date. (everything has redundant` systems so any disaster will still have the event footage backed up). And for the Fine print... Must be an event that will benefit my purpose of testing the new systems. This will be for the fall only (not next spring), only for an hour or two of services, some weekends already full. I will be back up and running by then, so those will be paid but still VERY reasonable (less than half price of anyone else) for what you will get since I run a half dozen cams (not one or two) with less headache and less time (no editing). HOW? I will be doing it switched straight to "tape", so I won't be spending 50 hours editing the project (time you have to pay for otherwise) and last but not least- I wont have a multi-employee crew, aka costly (that you would pay for) that don't show up half of the time and often screw it up when they do! I run a half dozen cams all edited down "on the fly" like the 10pm news, but only require ONE person- and that's always me. Its a win - win for a few lucky people.
