Pet grooming salon in Havertown, PA is looking to add a talented groomer to our team. We require a minimum of one year of independent grooming experience. We require breed standard grooming knowledge and scissoring skills. Candidates will be responsible to maintain the safety and comfort of each pet during their groom. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team and follow proper dog handling and grooming standards. Applicants should consider themselves an outgoing individual who works well with others. No drama please. We are seeking a prompt reliable employee, as we have bookings scheduled through the end of the year. There is great earning potential for the right individual with the desire to develop and build long standing relationships with clientele. This is a five day per week position. Our salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The pay structure will commensurate with experience. We offer paid holidays, vacation days, and we cover the cost of all incidentals related to grooming, including scissor and blade sharpening. We foster a professional but fun and friendly environment that is team centric. Our focus is on the quality of the grooming performed, not on the quantity of grooms. We are not an assembly line type of establishment. Each dog is given the time and attention needed in order to produce the best possible results and experience for our clientele.
