Job Title: Driver / Warehouse Asst. Reports to: Warehouse Manager Overview: We are seeking a Delivery Driver / warehouse individual to assist with daily operations of our location in Gardena. You will drive to deliver and pick up pallets /boxes and you will be using a forklift for this job. We deliver all over Southern California. This position requires you to use your customer service abilities and your smile. Picking and packing orders for customers. Ticketing and labeling cartons for orders according to customer guidelines. Palletizing and wrapping goods in preparation for pickup. Quick learner. Keep the warehouse organized and tidy. Duties and Responsibilities: -maintaining organized and accurate inventory -performing shipping and receiving duties -using a sit-down, propane forklift -processing inventory adjustments, location changes, and work orders -building/breakdown of pallets for shipment/receipt. -making deliveries in company vehicles -cleaning and maintaining warehouse appearance Qualifications: -Must have a valid driver's license and clean DMV record. -Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time -Ability to lift boxes weighing approximately 15-45 lbs. -Ability to operate a sit-down, propane forklift (certification is a plus) -Must test negative for all categories in a mandatory drug screening -experience with UPS and FedEx software is a plus Schedule: -Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm Compensation: Pay rate is dependent on candidate's experience. Health, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing and paid time off (PTO) benefits are available after completing appropriate qualification periods. CLP has a mandatory 2-month probationary period.
